[Remote] Project Manager - Site Acquisition - Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AFL is actively looking to hire a Project Manager to manage the Site Acquisition process. The Site Acquisition Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Site Acquisition process, negotiating real estate development transactions, and developing growth strategies for specific markets.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Site Acquisition process and help manage the contracts/leases of the selected sitesNegotiate real estate development transactions, from beginning to end including strategy development, business term negotiation, and support full legal negotiationAct as a key member of the Site Acquisitions team in developing growth strategies for specific marketsImplement a strategic plan while interacting with internal stakeholders (e.g. product teams, energy, fiber, design, construction, legal, tax, etc.)Understand the technical requirements of engineering teams and develop solutions that meet the design and business targetsPrepare and present transaction summaries to senior management team regarding progress, financial approvals and overall deal costs / benefitsProvide management for multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneouslyDeliver lease and permit approvals for multiple sites for network integrationObtain permits, approvals, and entitlements from local/municipal, state, and federal governmentSecure entitlements and leases, municipal approvals, civil reviews, utility coordination, liaison with landlords, property owners, and developersSkillsA background that includes experience in real estate, development, business, financial, strategic and technical operations/managementExperience and ability to negotiate multi-million-dollar contracts for real estate and infrastructure transactionsBe able to think strategically about business, market, and technical challenges with the skill to build and convey compelling value strategy plansExperience preparing, reviewing and negotiating the financial analysis of potential deal structuresPossess strong negotiation abilities to include legal document review and negotiation in conjunction with legal counsel5-10 years' experience with Project management in Site Acquisition environmentCompany OverviewAFL is a telecommunication company that offers fiber optic cable, transmission and substation accessories to its clients.
