The Services Project Manager will be responsible for managing newly onboarded PV Power Plants, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and optimizing financial performance while leading a team to deliver best-in-class fleet operations.ResponsibilitiesAble to perform Business Operations Coordinator role responsibilities (refer to position descriptions)Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchasesManage subcontractors and vendors to ensure their compliance with contract terms, scope of work, and scheduleDevelop and maintain good relationship with Owners, subcontractors and SOLV teamEncourage positive relationships between SOLV field teams and the Owners through conversationSupport SOLV Field team to meet contractual terms, maximize plant production and availability, and enhance feeResponsible for on-boarding of all aspects of facilityResponsible for providing accurate cost and revenue accruals on a monthly basisManage DSO of projects to ensure compliance with contract termsManage project costs and approvals of AP invoices to ensure proper cost coding and verification of expenditureManage owner invoicing process to ensure all invoices are submitted accurately and in a timely manner, prior to deadlinesMaintain timely and accurate reporting to management on all pertinent issuesManage, train, and supervise project team according to Company policyReview contract conditions; ensure compliance with all contract termsSupervise documentation of all significant project events, e.g., accidents, Change OrdersSupervise the negotiation, preparation and issuance of subcontract bid packagesMaintain quality control (integrity and excellence of completed project)Analyze best practices in industry for system operationsEnsure full compliance of services obligationsEnsures that all contractual obligations for power plants including laws, ordinances and contracts (i.e. PPA , LGIA land leases) are metDrives continuous improvements and best practices in O&MInterface regularly with project owner and others to deliver enhanced customer satisfaction, communication and reportingWork closely with outside resources to resolve long term systemic plant performance issues to provide root cause analysesPrioritization of day-to-day Service teams’ departmental tasks, delegate and accomplish goals through collaboration with strong leadership and management experienceFulfill role as the Project Management team executive for multiple team members and projects across North AmericaProviding leadership, guidance and support to both team members, as well as members of the extended teamContribute as thought leader for business and resource planning, charting and initiating challenging project strategies, and developing new processesProactively manage and identify project risks through problem solvingCoordinate with other internal Directors across various project disciplines to lead the organization into the futurePlay a key strategic role in portfolio planning, valuation, transaction and construction of new projectsPerform other duties and special projects, as assignedComplete other responsibilities as assignedSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situationsAbility to work collaboratively within a project team, as well as to analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independentlyStrong analytical and quantitative skillsDemonstrate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office / monitoring software) with data analysis, modeling and reporting background in Excel and applicable databasesProficiency and knowledgeable of office practices, procedures, and equipmentStrong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate independentlySuperior time management skills with an emphasis in task prioritizationAbility to work in a high pace, high stress environmentAbility to tolerate heavy call/meeting daysRequires frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 20 or more lbsConstant ability to see details at close range and at a distance, hear, talk, and possess depth perceptionExtended periods of time sitting in front of computer using finger dexterity, and near and far visionOccasional climbing and carrying, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in high exposed areasOccasional exposure to dust and fumes, electric shock, radiation, toxic/caustic chemicalsThe noise intensity level is highMinimal travel will be requiredDegree in Business Management preferredBenefitsEmployees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life and disability insurance.Employees can enroll in our company’s 401(k) planAre provided vacation, sick and holiday payCompany OverviewSOLV Energy offers engineering procurement construction, operations, maintenance, technology and services.
