[Remote] Project Manager- Renewable Energy (Remote)

The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.ResponsibilitiesManages the design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out of utility-scale solar, BESS, and hybrid renewable energy projectsDevelops, maintains, and executes detailed project execution plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk managementEstablishes and manages project budgets and forecasts; coordinates regular cost and cash flow reporting with Accounting and Finance, as well as controlling expenditures within the budgetProvides engineering and technical support to development, permitting, and interconnection activities as requiredOversees construction execution, ensuring compliance with construction contracts, environmental regulations, permits, safety requirements, and quality standardsOrganizes and leads project meetings and provides clear status reporting to internal management and external stakeholdersManages execution of interconnection agreement tasks and coordination with utilities, including testing, energization, and achievement of commercial operationCoordinates with Legal on negotiation and administration of contracts, supply agreements and warrantiesSupports construction and financing activities, including lender due diligence and independent engineer reviewsWorks closely with Development to ensure a seamless transition of projects into constructionCoordinates turnover of completed projects to Operations and Asset Management, including documentation, training, and warranty supportOversees Construction Managers, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer and quality personnel assigned to the project and ensures compliance with internal and external reporting requirementsCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsSkills5 years of experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projectsPrior experience as a Project Manager or Owner's Representative on renewable energy projectsStrong understanding of construction contracting, project controls, scheduling, and cost managementProven ability to manage multiple projects or project phases simultaneouslyStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to interpret project financial reports and prepare cash flow forecastsWillingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work on remote project sitesValid driver's licenseBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplinePMP certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licenseBattery Energy Storage System (BESS) and hybrid project experienceElectrical or high-voltage infrastructure experienceFamiliarity with Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) requirements, including domestic content and labor complianceBenefitsOpportunity for merit-based salary increasesIncentive plan participationEligibility for our 401 (k) plan and matchingComprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insuranceAccrual of 18 vacation days in your first yearPaid holidaysPaid volunteer timePaid parental leave to help support employees as they transition into parenthoodCompany OverviewLongroad Energy is a renewable energy developer that specializes in the development, financing, and operation of renewable energy projects.
