Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harris Computer is seeking a Project Manager to oversee internal and external client projects of varying complexity. The role involves managing project activities, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of project engagement from planning, stakeholder relationships, communications, resources, financials, change management, risks mitigation and all related project deliverablesWork with client project managers and other stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure successful completion of the project scopePrepare and manage project plans that encompass data conversion, product customization/software releases, environment preparation, and production deployment including training, configuration, testing, and rolloutDevelop, monitor, track and report project status and health metrics for internal and external stakeholdersServe as a communications hub for the project and deliver timely, appropriate, and effective executive-level communicationResponsible to the Project Management Office (PMO) and contributing to standardizing implementation best practices, updating project tools, and contributing towards process improvements and implementation efficienciesCraft proposal responses, statements of work, project execution plans, stakeholder presentations and various other written project artifactsProactively Identify and assess risks and escalated issues and implement resolution strategiesConduct post implementation reviews to identify best practices and areas of improvement and apply learningPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Business or Technology, plus a minimum of three years software implementation and services experience3+ years PM experience with external clients with proven experience as a strategic thinker able to solve complex issuesProven ability to plan, execute and track a complex software application rollout, preferably within an Agile/Scrum frameworkStrong leadership skillsExperience managing internal and external clientsExperience managing diverse project teams across multiple locations and functional teamsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, organization and interpersonal skillsMay require ability to travel nationwide, estimated at up to 50% during key project activitiesMay require extended work schedules, tight deadlines and conflicting prioritiesMust be able to work in a variety of social, cultural, legal, and political environmentsPMP certification or plans to obtain once prerequisites are metPrevious experience implementing Integrated Property Tax Solutions softwareFamiliarity with county tax appraisal/assessment concepts and processes is preferredExperience managing Government clientsAbility to understand and articulate business processes and the related dataAdvanced Microsoft Office including MS Project skillsCompany OverviewHarris provides mission-critical software solutions for the Public Sector, Healthcare, Utilities, and Private Sector verticals throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
