The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of medical education projects, overseeing project plans and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesOversees 7-10 concurrent projects, depending on the scopeAssumes responsibility for overall scope of each project, develops project plans, timelines, budgets in conjunction with coordinator, and drives projects to timely, quality deliveryAnticipates client needs and proactively addresses those needs with the project or account director to ensure complete client satisfactionWorks with account management, project team, scientific team, vendors, and editorial teams to coordinate resources to ensure appropriate support and communication, including but not limited to:Assists in the creation of long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlinesEnsures project tasks are being completed on time and successfully by the team members as assigned and delegates to those best positioned to complete themServes as a point of contact for teams when shared services are in play to ensure team actions remain in synergyDevelops and maintains status reports for internal and client useEnsures quality control of the project throughout development to execution, maintaining the standards expectedAdjusts schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changeFosters integration, collaboration, and teamwork among team membersDeploys Open Health resources to best balance overall business objectives of the organizationConsistently makes connections across projects/deliverables and makes recommendations for project efficiencies and improvementEnsures delivery of each project relative to budget, and the overall profitability of the account. Is able to independently reconcile projects in a timely manner. Helps to facilitate the reporting of financial records to clients as needed. Oversees and quality checks all financial tracking completed by the coordinatorMay be asked to support account/project team in the development of budgets to implement creative educational programsWorks with project/account director to help select and hire appropriate staff, train and develop coordinators on a routine basisCompletes all relevant other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization. This could include account/project management and scientifically based tasks related to the business that the account director/manager oversees. These tasks could include literature searches, agenda development for meetings, and review of meeting recaps, etcSkillsBachelor's degree3-4 years of professional education project types, including comprehensive knowledge of professional education project typesProficient software and computer skills (Microsoft Suite)Adept problem solving and decision-making skillsExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationshipsExceptional time management skillsDetail-oriented, articulate, creative, optimistic and works easily with a variety of personalities and stylesUnderstand FDA, AMA, PhRMA Guidelines and State Regulations as they apply to medical communication projectsThe ability to travel and meet with clients as requiredCompany OverviewOPEN Health provides medical communications, omni, HEOR, and market access services.
