They are seeking an Operational Excellence Project Manager to lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness across the Service Center Division.ResponsibilitiesDrive Operational Excellence Strategy: Partner with Division leadership to develop and implement operational excellence strategies that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and performanceIdentify & Analyze Improvement Opportunities: Conduct analyses and investigations to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities; develop practical, data-driven solutionsLead Cross-Functional Projects: Lead and manage cross-functional teamsāincluding internal resources and external consultantsāon process improvement projects, special initiatives, and cross-divisional effortsImplement Continuous Improvement Methods: Identify, propose, and deploy process improvement initiatives using established methodologies and toolsDevelop & Monitor KPIs: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success of improvement initiativesDocument & Train: Create process documentation, develop training materials, and provide training and ongoing support to employees on new processes and best practicesReport Progress & Outcomes: Prepare and present reports and presentations outlining the status, impact, and outcomes of process improvement and change management initiativesFacilitate Continuous Improvement Teams: Lead continuous improvement teams to promote collaboration, information sharing, problem-solving, and operational learningManage Multiple Projects: Oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while embedding operational excellence standardsEnhance Business Performance Visibility: Develop a structured approach to consolidating business data to improve visibility, enable decision-making, and drive continuous improvement actionsPromote Division Excellence: Further the goals and professional image of SCD through effective and timely collaboration with outside contacts and other MEPPI divisionsSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management and leading operational excellence or continuous improvement initiativesFormal training and hands-on experience with project management methodologies (PMP)Experience with continuous improvement frameworks including Lean/JIT, 5S, KATA, Six SigmaWorking knowledge of DMAIC, SIPOC, VOC, process mapping, and value stream mapping (VSM)Advanced analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive changeAdvanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft OfficeExperience with service management and process improvement software toolsBenefitsComprehensive Health Coverage: MEPPI pays 90% of medical, dental, and vision plan costsRetirement Plans: 401(k) with up to 4% company matchGenerous Paid Time Off: Begin earning vacation after 90 days, plus 12 paid holidays per yearCareer Development: Ongoing leadership development, training programs, and educational assistanceExclusive Employee Perks: Profit sharing, free access to the 24/7 fitness center in Warrendale, PA, and participation in MEPPIās Wellness ProgramCompany OverviewMitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is an Electronic Manufacturing firm that manufactures electric power & electronic technologies.
