[Remote] Project Manager - Mobile Automation

The Project Manager will oversee automation projects, manage schedules, communicate with customers, and ensure project delivery aligns with organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesManaging the overall teams and project items for automation projectsDevelop and manage multiple concurrent project plan schedules while monitoring projects daily to track progress against the work plan schedulesInterfaces with the customer as a primary point of contact on projectsIdentify and Manage Scope, Time, Risk, and Stakeholders to ensure successful deliveryRoutinely communicate project status, resource utilization, and high-level project schedule to executive management and related project team membersResponsible for monitoring and maintaining the financial performance of the projectAlign cross-functional business and technical teams to help ensure alignment of goals and to help resolve conflicting prioritiesProactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress, identify gaps in communication or schedule, provide support to teams balancing competing priorities and drive resultsAlign, monitor, and drive to closure project milestones and technical deliverablesEnsuring that Dematic leadership has a comprehensive understanding of projects, timelines, dependencies, etcHolding regular status meetings and documenting project statusCompleting and submitting internal and external status reportsSeeking out, implementing, and documenting problem resolutionsIdentifying and implementing process improvementsFollowing up on open issues and action items to ensure they are resolvedSkillsBachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field2-5 years of project management experiencePrior experience managing people or processesExperience in project management, product development lifecycle, or process managementExperience managing automation projects that include (but are not limited to): automated guided vehicles, automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems, warehouse management software, etcProficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systemsStrong relationship building, interpersonal, and leadership skillsStrong meeting facilitation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to understand information quickly, derive insight, synthesize information clearly and concisely, and devise solutionsInclination to take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives and independently drive for resultsAbility to interface at all levels of the organization within and outside of the companyDemonstrated self-confidence, honesty, and integrityExcellent Negotiation SkillsUp to 25% travel (including international)BenefitsCareer DevelopmentCompetitive Compensation and BenefitsPay TransparencyGlobal OpportunitiesCompany OverviewThe Mind Behind the Machine Dematic is a trusted partner in intelligent automation for the supply chain, helping organizations design, build, and evolve solutions that perform in the real world.
