They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage complex projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring effective communication and successful delivery while maintaining client relationships.ResponsibilitiesManage small to large-scale complex projects from project initiation to project close-outLiaise between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper communication, accurate and on-time reporting, and management of the scheduleServe as a mentor and coach to assistant project managers, offering guidance and supportEstablish, track, and control project cost, scope, schedule, and budget to deliver assigned projects in accordance with contractual agreementCreation of Proposals. Lead kickoff meetings and discovery calls. Works with the Project Engineer on scope, schedule, and budgetPlan, schedule, and execute all phases of projects or programs in accordance with project management processes, policies, guidelines, and corporate governanceDevelop high-level project workflow and ensure project scopes and milestone dates for all assigned projectsProvide project cost forecasting over the life of the project or programCollaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products/servicesPrepare project change orders and/or correction actions in collaboration with the client, Project Engineer(s), and Operations ManagerMonitor and report on key metrics, customer satisfaction, and performance against objectivesMaintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and sales activities in the CRM systemEnsure the orderly closure of projects, including finalizing all project activities, obtaining client acceptance, and conducting post-project evaluationsDocument lessons learned and share best practices with the organizationDevelop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are metProject invoicingIdentify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project life cycleLiaise between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicatedMaintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders. Provide regular project updates to management and team membersLead project update calls and in-person meetings with external clients throughout the project life cycleMonitor and manage expectations of communication between staff and external clientsBuild and nurture client relationships, understanding their needs and business objectivesBuild an understanding of the customer's organizational structure and decision-making processServe as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional serviceCommunicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and troubleshoot any issuesProactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional offerings to existing customersPrepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales materials to clients as neededStay informed about industry trends and developments to provide value to clientsContribute towards and execute on the strategic plan to target new business opportunitiesOther duties as assignedSkillsH.S. Diploma or equivalent is required5+ years of relevant industry experience3+ years of Project Management experienceProven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and on budgetStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing prioritiesMust be results-driven with a dedicated focus on achieving successful project performance, customer satisfaction, and organic sales growthDemonstrated level of understanding of commonly used project management concepts, practices, and proceduresAdaptability and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAvailable during the 'core' work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the weekWilling and able to travel regularly (20%-30%), which will include overnight travelDependable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insuranceAble to pass a background check/drug test/driving record checkAuthorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to endure frequent, lengthy periods of sedentary work and sit for prolonged periods, including sitting at a desk and driving in a vehicleMust be able to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periodsMust have the physical ability to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing notes, and viewing a computer terminal; these activities require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusMust have the physical ability to express or exchange ideas using spoken words and convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, often in a group settingMust have the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communicationAn Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not requiredProject management certification preferredCompany OverviewSigma Technologies is a leading engineering and design firm specializing in infrastructure solutions for the power and telecom industries.
