[Remote] Project Manager II, PSO

The Project Manager II will assist the project team in completing projects within their planned scope, schedule, and budget while managing project schedules, documentation, and client communications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage comprehensive project schedules, defining deliverables based on the project scopeTrack and manage project milestones, customer-reported issues, and work with stakeholders to ensure resolutionMaintain thorough project documentation, including meeting minutes, agendas, and other necessary documentsRegularly communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholdersEnsure alignment of project objectives with business goals and customer expectationsConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategiesFacilitate cross-functional team collaboration to enhance project outcomesUtilize project management tools and software for efficient project tracking and reportingCreate and manage configuration documentation for client projectsServe as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries regarding managed projectsCollaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams to resolve customer-reported issuesMonitor product development, track sprints, gather requirements, and provide updates to clients, third parties, internal teams, and managementProvide regular feedback to the PSO management team on process improvements and best practicesTrack and report individual time for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budgeted laborHost recurring customer conference calls to drive project execution and travel onsite to customer facilities as neededParticipate in onboarding new Project ManagersMentor and guide junior team members, fostering professional growth and developmentDrive strategic initiatives to improve project management methodologies and practices across the organizationBe a subject matter expert, responsible for maintaining project documentation in our Confluence spacePerform other duties as assignedSkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving abilitiesA minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the financial services or software industry, with increasing demonstrated responsibility and successExperienced in diverse product lifecycles and integrations, including hands-on experience with key third-party vendors within major SaaS suite ecosystemsExperience using Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, MS Excel, and MS WordMust be comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects (25-30+)Experience managing tickets and backlogAbility to take a process and work with management to suggest modifications focusing on client satisfaction and efficiencyExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to perform successfully in a high-pressure, fast-paced working environmentAbility to work independently with little directionCareful attention to detail in all aspects of the jobWorking experience with JIRA, Confluence, and SmartsheetStrong knowledge of payment networks and familiarity with payment processors and technology providers supporting end-to-end SaaS operationsImplementation of APIs with third-party providersExperience implementing Card Experience productsPrevious work experience with the banking and financial industry as it relates to Internet home banking applicationsBenefitsRemote-first environmentUnlimited paid time off401(k) with employer matchCompany OverviewAlkami Technology provides cloud-based digital banking solutions for credit unions and banks.
