[Remote] Project Manager II

American Interstate Signcrafters (AIS) is seeking a Project Manager II to lead the execution of complex, multi-site signage and branding programs. This role is responsible for full lifecycle project ownership, including financial performance, client communication, vendor management, and program execution.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end execution of multi-site signage programs from kickoff through closeoutManage schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projectsEnsure alignment with brand standards, design intent, and program requirementsIdentify and mitigate risks before they impact timelines or budgetsOwn project financial performance including cost tracking, forecasting, and profitabilityManage invoicing, revenue recognition, WIP, and billing in alignment with internal processesEnsure projects meet or exceed margin expectationsSource, evaluate, and manage subcontractors and vendors across multiple marketsEnsure quality, consistency, and adherence to project scope and timelinesNegotiate and manage vendor performance to align with program goalsServe as a primary point of contact for clientsProvide proactive updates, solutions, and recommendationsBuild strong relationships by adding value and improving program outcomesManage expectations and ensure a high level of customer satisfactionIdentify opportunities to improve execution, efficiency, and scalabilityContribute to the development of internal processes and best practicesMentor and support junior project managers and coordinatorsAnalyze program performance and recommend strategic improvementsSkills4–7+ years of project management experience in the sign industryStrong understanding of project financials including cost, revenue, margin, and WIPProven experience managing subcontractors and installation workflowsAbility to manage complex projects across multiple locations simultaneouslyStrong client-facing communication and relationship management skillsDemonstrated ability to problem-solve and make decisions independentlyProficiency in Excel and project management tools (Smartsheet, ERP systems such as NetSuite preferred)Company OverviewAmerican & Interstate Signcrafters offers a comprehensive and fully integrated mix of innovative signage solutions to businesses nationwide.
