[Remote] Project Manager I - Energy

The Project Manager will assist in the development and engineering of projects during the RFP/RFQ process and oversee onsite project operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective project management.ResponsibilitiesEnsures customer satisfaction, quality, and proactive improvement and ensures continuous development of customer relationshipsOversees and assists in development of procedures to increase effectiveness on overall projects and estimated job profitsParticipates in scheduled meetings to inform management of issues and progressWorks with human resources and safety as needed on job site related issuesCoordinates with purchasing to ensure orders are placed when necessaryReviews projects to control job costs and ensure job profitabilityEnsures company policies are enforced, followed, and any discrepancies are reportedProvides timely input regarding project schedules for resource planningAssists preconstruction team with estimating, preparing and presenting proposals, and identifying potential cost or schedule issuesDirects and reviews the preparation of designed submittal packagesRequests and evaluates proposals from subcontractorsNegotiates and notifies subcontractors of bid awardPrepares schedule of values for billing on each job, provides monthly progress billing amounts to accounting and assists in collecting monies dueSets the quality standards required for installers, subcontractors, designers, programmers, and start-up techniciansDirects the installation work of both in-house installers and subcontractorsDetermines causes of any cost or schedule overruns and takes or makes recommendations for corrective actionsParticipates in job progress meetings both internally and with the customerReviews daily reports, documentation, plan updates, ASI, RFI’s and/or any other contractually required documentation for implementationProvides required closeout documentation, including commissioning documents, as-built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, acceptance signoffs, and warranty lettersTransitions project from implementation to Warranty team members to include review of project scope, project documentation, and customer expectationsPromotes safe working methods and provides safety measures as needed for our on-site personnel and subcontractorsSkillsTwo (2) years of technical school, Four (4) years of HVAC industry experienceAt least 5 years of related experience with strong computer skillsManagement of trade related constructionExperience in simultaneously managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines, deliverables, and other requirementsKnowledge of and a basic understanding of Veregy's productsKnowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office productsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documentsAbility to perform basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers; to perform the four basic arithmetic operations with money; to perform operations with units such as inch, foot, yard, ounce, pound, or metric counterpartsImpeccable attention to detail and multi-tasking abilityWritten and verbal ability to communicate professionallyAbility to collaborate to solve issues and problemsAbility to adhere to strict deadlines and work overtime as neededValid Driver's LicenseBenefitsCompetitive Compensation.Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Leave, and Paid Time Off.Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans.401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer Contributions (%).Employer Sponsored Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance.Employer Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance.Continued Education and Trade Certification Sponsorship (Specific Positions).Company Branded Trucks Provided (Specific Positions).Company OverviewVeregy offers comprehensive infrastructure upgrades, energy management, and energy efficiency solutions in mechanical.
