[Remote] Project Manager (Financial Systems & Payments)

This role will focus on customer payment processing, financial system optimisation, and fraud mitigation, driving improvements in accuracy, performance, and operational resilience.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project management of financial systems initiatives from ideation through deliveryDrive process improvement efforts to enhance performance, accuracy, and efficiency across financial operationsOversee systems supporting inbound customer payments and payment fraud prevention, ensuring strong controls and risk mitigationAct as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, supporting system enhancements, development, and implementationSupport systems testing, deployment, and ongoing optimisation of financial modulesEnsure appropriate security, controls, and compliance standards are maintainedContribute to or develop business cases for new initiatives and improvementsManage prioritisation, scheduling, and resource allocation for project deliverablesIdentify and resolve system and operational issues, driving continuous improvementSupport development of decision engines, rules-based systems, and automation processesProvide guidance and mentorship to team members on both operational and technical topicsSkills5+ years of Project and/or Product Management experience, working across both business and technology teamsProven ability to lead cross-functional projects in complex environmentsStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to gather, document, and translate requirementsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver resultsExperience with financial systems, payments, or fraud-related processesSelf-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently in a remote environmentBackground in financial operations, payments, or telecom/media environments (or similarly scaled organisations)Strong analytical mindset with experience improving systems and processesComfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholdersExposure to or experience with AI tools to improve workflows and productivityCompany OverviewHarnham has actively chosen to focus on Data and Analytics.
