[Remote] Project Manager – ERP Implementations and Consulting Services

Solen Software Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ERP software implementation and consulting projects for mid-sized and enterprise clients. The role involves delivering complex ERP solutions on time and within budget while ensuring exceptional client experiences and managing stakeholder relationships.ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive project plans and work breakdown structure outlining scope, budget, resource allocation, and timelines. Risks and risk mitigationBridge the gap between executive sponsors, steering committee, client project manager, department heads, IT teams, and external software vendorsIdentify potential roadblocks such as data migration issues or software limitations and establish mitigation strategiesManage system testing, data migration cycles, and the final go-live/cutover strategyEstablish "hypercare" for a successful go-live then a transition plan to the regular support deskWork collaboratively in developing statements of work for projectsConflict management and resolution with team membersWork closely with clients to gather and document business requirements, processes, and objectivesCoordinate cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical developers, data migration specialists, and quality assurance resourcesFacilitate workshops, status meetings, and executive steering committee updatesEnsure adherence to project governance, change management, and best practicesManage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the engagementOversee data migration, system integration, testing, training, and go-live support activitiesIdentify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issuesProvide post-implementation support and transition to support teams as neededContribute to continuous improvement of our ERP implementation methodology and templatesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or equivalent experience preferred)Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Project Management, with at least 3 years focused on ERP software implementations or similar enterprise systemsProven track record successfully delivering full-cycle ERP implementations (phases from discovery through go-live and hypercare)Experience with at least one major ERP platform (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Syspro, Infor, Epicor, Sage, or similar)Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to travel to client sites as required (typically 10 -20%)Experience implementing SYSPRO ERP (strongly preferred)PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certificationsPrior consulting services background (Big 4, mid-market, or boutique ERP consulting firm)Experience in one or more industry verticals such as manufacturing, distribution, or wholesaleKnowledge of SQL, data migration tools, integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft), AI platforms, and reporting toolsBenefitsCompetitive base salary and performance-based bonus.Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k)/RRSP, etc.).Flexible remote work policy across the US and Canada.Professional development opportunities certification support.Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.Company OverviewSolen Software Group acquires and grows software businesses, focusing on enterprise B2B markets.
