[Remote] Project Manager - Electrical Capital Projects

KOO Recruit is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical Capital Projects to lead electrical construction, facility upgrades, equipment installations, and capital improvement projects across multiple manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. This position is responsible for managing projects from planning through commissioning while ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and successful project execution.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage electrical capital projects across multiple manufacturing facilitiesOversee electrical construction activities, facility upgrades, and equipment installationsManage project schedules, budgets, resources, and contractor performanceCoordinate electrical contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnelEnsure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company requirementsTrack project progress and provide regular updates to leadershipSupport facility shutdowns, equipment replacements, and startup/commissioning activitiesManage procurement of electrical equipment, materials, and servicesOversee installation and upgrades of power distribution systems, MCCs, VFDs, motors, controls, and automation systemsMaintain project documentation and cost controls throughout executionPartner with plant and operations leadership to identify and prioritize capital projectsSkillsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 5 years of experience managing industrial electrical projects, electrical construction projects, or capital improvement projectsExperience managing contractors and field personnelStrong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and infrastructureAbility to travel extensively throughout the United StatesStrong communication, organizational, and project management skillsJourneyman Electrician License, Master Electrician License, Electrical Certification, Electrical Engineering background, or equivalent industrial electrical experience preferredFood ManufacturingFood ProcessingBeverage ManufacturingConsumer Products ManufacturingChemical ManufacturingPharmaceutical ManufacturingIndustrial ManufacturingIndustrial ConstructionPLC SystemsMCCs (Motor Control Centers)VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)Motor ControlsAutomation SystemsPower Distribution SystemsElectrical Infrastructure UpgradesCompany OverviewAt KOO Recruit, our commitment to the companies and individuals we serve is simple - to demonstrate integrity, to build trust, and to build a partnership that lasts.
