[Remote] Project Manager-Data Governance/Engineering (Pharma/Lifesciences/Healthcare)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Polestar Analytics is a data analytics and enterprise planning company that specializes in providing sophisticated insights for pharmaceutical analytics engagements. The Project Manager will own the end-to-end project delivery, focusing on building client relationships and managing complex projects in pharmaceutical commercial operations.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Plan, execute, and deliver analytics projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, focusing on pharmaceutical commercial operations (e.g., sales forecasting, market access, HCP engagement analytics)
ā¢ Build and nurture trusted relationships with diverse client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, commercial teams, and IT leaders
ā¢ Collaborate closely with offshore delivery teams (India-based) to ensure alignment, knowledge transfer, and efficient resource utilization
ā¢ Define project scopes, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies using Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies
ā¢ Drive client workshops, requirement gathering, and status reporting to maximize value realization
ā¢ Monitor project health via KPIs, budgets, and deliverables; proactively resolve issues and escalate as needed
ā¢ Contribute to pre-sales activities, such as solution scoping and proposal development for pharma clients
Skills
ā¢ 8+ years in project/engagement management, with 4+ years in pharmaceutical analytics or commercial operations
ā¢ Proven experience delivering analytics projects (e.g., data visualization, predictive modeling, commercial insights) for pharma/life sciences clients
ā¢ Strong ability to manage cross-functional, offshore teams and build executive-level client relationships
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or related field; PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred
ā¢ Local to Boston area or willing/able to commit to 3+ days onsite per week
ā¢ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Experience with tools like JIRA, MS Project, Tableau, or pharma-specific platforms (e.g., Veeva, IQVIA)
ā¢ Domain knowledge in pharma commercial ops (e.g., pricing, rebates, territory management)
ā¢ Prior consulting experience
