The role involves overseeing IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining strong communication with customers and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage end-to-end IT projects, including scheduling and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectationsCoordinate with internal teams, vendors and subcontractors to ensure proper resource allocationAddress scheduling conflicts, escalating those that impact timeline and budgetTrack and manage assigned portfolio including project activities and milestones, ensuring resources are aligned with timelines and deliverablesUpdate project workplan to match customer-agreed upon Statement of Work (SOW)Approve ordering and follow product deliveriesManage scope and change management ensuring clear documentation, communication and approval by relevant stakeholdersCoordinate technician schedules and activitiesContinuously monitor progress in terms of the status, budget and profitabilityBe the point of contact for project updates, fostering strong customer relationshipsConduct internal and external kick-off callsRegularly communicate project updates, ensuring stakeholders are informed on progress, risks and challengesReport out and up to the project team, management and the customer on predetermined intervalsCommunicate completion status and obtain customer acceptance, facilitate post-project reviews and support hand-off to ensure customers are satisfied with outcomes and maintain a positive relations post-deliveryProactively suggest improvements to project management processes to increase efficiency and effectivenessMonitor potential risks and issues that could result in delays, change orders or scope creepIdentify and monitor where additional time or resources are required and where efficiencies could be madeDevelop mitigation plans to ensure project continuityTake corrective action to reduce risks that might impact scope, schedule, quality and costUnderstand the technology being installed to answer questions and conduct training (where applicable)Ensure project deliverables are in alignment with project specificationsMaintain comprehensive project documentation including project workplan, status reports, meeting notes and time entriesTrack to report on key project metrics, including progress against timeline, budget adherence and overall project healthAttend required company and departmental meetingsAct in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee HandbookPerform other related duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a project coordination, project management or service delivery role, ideally within an IT-focused environmentUnderstanding of IT terminology and PSA ticketing systemsKnowledge of IT service delivery principles, including incident and change managementProficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and project management toolsExcellent communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people, including the ability to present in front of a group and work with cross-functional teams and external vendorsAccountability – This is needed to see a project or task from start to finishExcellent analytical and organization skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projectsEffective at building trust, finding common ground, having empathy and building good relationships with othersFunction collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team but also perform effectively as an independent producer under broad management directionAbility to prioritize several tasks and keep them running simultaneously (multitasking)Display excitement and a positive attitude towards work assignments, clients and organizationAdapt to changes in the work environmentAbility to manage emotions, especially negative ones, to be able to think clearly and objectivelyAbility to understand the other side's motivations with the goal to achieve a win-win resolution that is favorable, satisfies both sides and maintains relationships for future interactionsBroad understanding of financial management and budgeting principlesCAPM or PMP (Certified Associate Project Manager or Project Management Professional), Agile, Scrum or similar certification preferredCompany OverviewMarco is a technology services company that specializes in hosted/cloud services, managed services, business IT services.
