[Remote] Project Manager / Business Analyst (Investment Technology)

Trajectory Recruiting is seeking a Project Manager and Business Analyst to support the Total Fund and Capital Markets Platform for a Large Public Pension Investment Office. This versatile role involves project execution, business analysis, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful alignment across multiple workstreams and project plans.ResponsibilitiesApply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches to ensure successful executionEngage with subject matter experts to document complex investment business processes and conduct gap analysis to inform solution designProactively monitor project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies while providing regular updatesPrepare, manage, and update project documentation, including project charters and artifactsCoordinate and conduct testing using various tools while documenting investment systems and reporting workflowsLead effective engagement efforts and partner with business leads to drive organizational changeRegularly assess resource utilization, monitor burn rates, and adjust plans as needed to address capacity concernsPrepare and deliver concise progress updates and executive summaries using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or JiraProvide training to technology platform owners and end users to foster self-sufficiencySkills5+ years of experience supporting large-scale, complex projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologiesProven track record of successful execution within investment management or financial technology environments5+ years of experience working on business requirements and implementation of portfolio management, order management, execution/trading, treasury, or accounting systems5+ years of experience working on large portfolio management, order management, risk, or trading data integration projects5+ years of experience collaborating with internal stakeholders, implementation partners, and external vendors5+ years of experience preparing executive summaries and project health transparency using Tableau, Power BI, or JiraDemonstrated leadership and communication skills with experience influencing and aligning diverse audiencesPMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Change Management certifications (e.g., Prosci, CCMP)CFA or CAIA designationExperience with Aladdin, CRIMS, SimCorp, or MSCI Barra OneExpertise in asset allocation, investment risk, performance measurement, or treasury managementExperience working with government agencies or on public sector enterprise modernization initiativesBachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred)Company OverviewTrajectory is a boutique executive recruiting firm that specializes in helping high-growth companies secure the right leadership talent—those who will not only succeed in the role but drive sustainable impact.
