Landhawk Consulting LLC is a multidisciplinary environmental consulting firm seeking a Project Manager to join their environmental and cultural resources team. The role involves leading projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and providing technical support in environmental compliance and permitting.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and provide oversight on projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and budgetsMaintain consistent day-to-day engagement with project teams to proactively monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure alignment with project goalsTake the initiative to track and communicate daily activities to supervisors and project leads, while regularly checking in with staff to ensure tasks are clearly defined and progressing efficientlyProvide quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on all project documentation to maintain a high standard of workPrepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation to support environmental approvals and complianceProvide technical support and regulatory guidance in the areas of environmental compliance, permitting, and wildlife conservation or cultural resource managementCoordinate and lead biological/archaeological field teams, ensuring timely, professional, and technically sound deliverablesMentor and guide junior staff, promoting growth, accountability, and collaborationOccasionally travel to project sites or attend client meetings as neededSupport business development efforts through client relationship management, conference participation, marketing initiatives, and proposal developmentMaintain clear and effective communication with clients, internal team members, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycleSkillsProven leadership skills and strong communication abilities, grounded in integrity and emotional intelligenceBachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Wildlife Management, Environmental Science, or a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of directly relevant experience in environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, NEPA documentation, and/or environmental permittingHighly self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage responsibilities with minimal oversightExperience leading and managing teamsPreference for candidates who have conducted fieldwork, such as plant species surveys, nesting bird surveys, and biological resource monitoring, in support of environmental complianceBenefits15 days paid vacation, up to 40 hours of annual sick leave, and 11 paid holidays are provided to salaried employees.Access to in-person and virtual training programs, mentorship, and career development opportunities.Paid travel time, GSA per diem, and mileage reimbursement.Bonuses will be available based on performance and project contributions.Company OverviewLandhawk is an environmental consulting firm, located in south Texas, offering a wide range of services including environmental assessments, biological surveys, permitting and project management.
