[Remote] Project Manager (50% allocation)

Atlas is a global strategic consulting firm focused on the Life Sciences industry, seeking an experienced Agile-fluent Project Manager to support a multi-workstream business transformation and technology delivery initiative for their client. The role involves managing project organization, sprint cadence, risk management, stakeholder communications, and ensuring delivery aligns with the approved Statement of Work.ResponsibilitiesManage sprint-based delivery cycles, including sprint kickoff, mid-sprint clarification, sprint reviews, demos, action tracking, and follow-upMaintain the integrated project plan, roadmap, sprint plan, milestone tracker, RAID log, decision log, and action logTrack progress across multiple workstreams, including data, reporting, application development, automation, testing, and DevOps readinessEnsure sprint priorities, approved requirements, workstream activities, and delivery commitments remain alignedIdentify risks, blockers, dependency gaps, and scope concerns early, and drive timely resolutionSupport project governance, status reviews, steering committee preparation, and executive updatesFacilitate Agile ceremonies and hybrid delivery routines in a practical, business-friendly mannerPartner with product owners, business leads, technical leads, QA, and vendor teams to confirm sprint scope and prioritiesTrack sprint outputs, carryover items, defects, decisions, and readiness for UAT or releaseEnsure feedback from sprint reviews is captured and categorized appropriately as a defect, clarification, backlog item, reprioritization request, or change requestHelp protect delivery focus by minimizing unnecessary meeting overhead and avoiding repeated review of previously approved requirementsManage delivery in alignment with the approved SOW, roadmap, project plan, requirements baseline, and governance processReinforce scope boundaries in a professional, collaborative, and client-service-oriented mannerIdentify when stakeholder requests may impact scope, timeline, cost, dependencies, resources, testing, or release timingPartner with Atlas leadership to escalate material scope, commercial, resource, timeline, or dependency impactsHelp ensure new requests, revised acceptance expectations, additional reporting, new workflows, or expanded functionality are managed through backlog prioritization or change control as appropriateCommunicate tradeoffs clearly and constructively so stakeholders can make informed decisions without creating unmanaged delivery riskServe as a central coordination point across Atlas, client business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadershipBuild trusted relationships while maintaining delivery discipline and clear accountabilityFacilitate meetings, workshops, planning sessions, status reviews, and decision discussionsEnsure decisions, risks, dependencies, open questions, and next steps are clearly documented and followed throughManage stakeholder expectations and help ensure timely feedback, decisions, data, access, approvals, and testing participationPrepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, meeting materials, and project communicationsCoordinate workstream-specific UAT, end-to-end UAT, defect triage, retesting, and acceptance trackingPartner with QA, business users, and technical teams to support testing readiness and issue resolutionSupport release readiness, DevOps hypercare planning, production support coordination, and operational handoffSupport change readiness activities, including stakeholder communication, training coordination, adoption planning, and transition supportSkills5+ years of project management experience leading complex business and technology delivery initiativesStrong Agile delivery experience, including sprint planning, backlog coordination, sprint reviews, demos, UAT coordination, and delivery governanceExperience managing cross-functional workstreams involving data, reporting, automation, software applications, integrations, or digital transformationStrong stakeholder management, executive communication, facilitation, and issue-resolution skillsDemonstrated ability to manage scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and competing priorities in a fast-moving environmentAbility to be firm, clear, and collaborative when managing scope boundaries and delivery expectationsExperience with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platformsStrong documentation skills, including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, decision logs, action trackers, sprint plans, and governance materialsExperience in life sciences, healthcare, market research, analytics, consulting, or client-facing delivery environmentsExperience with hybrid Agile delivery modelsExperience supporting UAT, release readiness, DevOps hypercare, and operational transitionFamiliarity with data management, reporting solutions, workflow automation, or application implementation projectsPMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Prosci, or related certification preferredCompany OverviewAtlas is a company which provides IT services, business solutions and consultation services.
