[Remote] Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple projects, ensuring the successful implementation of new applications and systems for insurance customers while managing project resources and fostering strong relationships across the business.ResponsibilitiesRun multiple projects simultaneously to support the successful implementation of new applications and systems based on business and customer objectives including:Drive the delivery of services to the customer, managing customer inquiries and requests as assignedManage weekly project meetings and monthly status reporting – including meeting preparations, scheduling, agenda preparation, content and presenter planning, documenting, and distributing minutes and action items, scheduling any follow-up sessions, etcNegotiate with first line resource managers for project resources; as well as effectively communicate with Product Engineering and Sales on resourcingDevelop strong relationships across the business to ensure the project team is successfulThrough expertise in industry best practices, tailor the balance of scope, schedule, resources, and quality against the needs of the project and overall business strategyCollaborate and provide mentorship and guidance to peers on project management methodologiesIdentify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and proceduresStay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etcOther duties as assignedSkills1+ years of insurance experience requiredBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experienceAnalytical and critical thinking skillsWritten and oral English communication skillsTime management including work planning, prioritization, and organizationAbility to handle multiple priorities or tasksSelf-starter and quick learnerDetail-orientedActive listenerAbility to collaborate and work autonomouslyFlexible and adaptableNegotiation skillsTeam Building skillsWork Breakdown Structure knowledgeProject Schedule knowledgeProject Statuses (Team & Exec) knowledgeProject Estimation and Financials knowledgeProject Staffing profiles knowledgeProject Management documentation (scope statement, charter, communication plan, etc.) knowledgeAdvanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft WordAdvanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft ExcelAdvanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft OutlookAdvanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft PowerPointAdvanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft ProjectAdvanced knowledge and experience with Visio/or another diagramming toolAdvanced knowledge and experience with Resource Allocation / Workflow Tool (examples: Clarity, SAP, PPM, Remedy, Jira, Salesforce, etc.)Advanced knowledge and experience with Project Management and SDLC MethodologiesBasic architecture comprehensionSingular project focus experience500 – 3,000 hours project experienceAverage team size 3-10 people project experienceBenefitsWork Where You ThriveFind the work environment that supports your best—whether that’s remote, in-office, or hybrid—depending on your role and location.
