[Remote] Project Manager

The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and deliver a portfolio of technology projects, focusing on IT Operations and Software Development, while driving projects from initiation through delivery and managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk.ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and deliver IT Operations projects including software rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and systems deploymentsPlan, manage, and deliver Software Development projects in coordination with the development team, CIO, and product managementDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocationsFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesMaintain healthy project and sprint backlogs while managing sprint turnover frequencyTrack project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and proactively resolve issues and blockersAdminister and maintain project tracking in Jira, ensuring accurate status, reporting, and metricsCoordinate across internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to align priorities and timelinesCommunicate project status, milestones, and risks clearly to stakeholders and leadershipHelp define and improve internal project management processes, standards, and documentationEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetSkills3+ years of experience managing technology projectsHands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Hands-on experience with Jira for project and backlog managementDemonstrated experience managing both IT infrastructure/operations projects and software development projectsStrong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing prioritiesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively with a global, distributed teamPMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent certification a plusExperience with software rollouts and infrastructure deployments a plusCompany OverviewUptime Institute is the Global Digital Infrastructure Authority.
