[Remote] Project Manager

Highland Electric Fleets is a leading provider of Electrification-as-a-Service (EaaS), dedicated to making electric fleets accessible and affordable. The Project Manager I will oversee the design and installation of EV charging infrastructure projects, ensuring full project delivery from contract signing to commercial operation, while collaborating with various internal teams to enhance customer experiences. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-contract, execution, project completion and operational deployment Partner with key internal experts to deliver projects with excellent customer experiences Manage multiple projects in various stages at the same time Select engineering consultants and installation contractors for projects Negotiate and execute project-based subcontractor agreements Coordinate with utilities for service upgrades and interconnection scopes of work Support submission of all project permitting requirements Establish and maintain project cost forecasts and actuals Develop and drive detailed project schedules Ensure compliance with all project and customer requirements Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal to solve unique challenges Skills Bachelor's degree and 1+ years professional experience OR 3+ years professional experience 1+ years direct project management experience, preferably electrical or civil Excellent analytical skills Self-motivated: proactively assume responsibilities, with the ability to operate effectively with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to collaborate across departments within the company, external customers, and partners Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Excellent communication skills EV charging infrastructure experience preferred Renewable energy project experience a plus (V2G, BESS, solar, storage, microgrid) Benefits Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus program Health, Vision, and Dental coverage for employees & their dependents Generous Paid Time Off 401(k) program and company match Company Overview Highland Electric Fleets is a turnkey solutions provider that delivers electric school buses to school districts and fleet providers.
