[Remote] Project Manager

Boston Harbor Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead Vendavo implementation projects and serve as the main point of contact for client engagements. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, and budget while building strong relationships with clients and leading cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesManage client engagements with end-to-end ownership, from kickoff through post-production supportCreate and manage project schedules spanning configuration, development, testing, and go-live activitiesOversee requirements gathering with clients and run user story grooming sessions with key stakeholdersObtain requirements sign-off for each sprint to ensure alignment with client objectivesProvide coordination and leadership for internal and client project members, building rapport with project sponsors and mitigating conflict as neededIdentify and track client pain points and gaps between business process requirements and platform capabilitiesManage project scope and change orders, and identify opportunities to refine BHC’s service delivery processesManage the activities and tasks associated with multiple projects simultaneouslyEnsure the project team complies with time-sheet guidelines so that resource-utilization and budget metrics stay accurate and currentEnsure the project team documents all user stories and acceptance criteria in JiraDevelop a working understanding of the features, capabilities, and limitations of the Vendavo platform, including its pricing, quoting and agreements, rebates, and analytics modulesSupport the development of training and implementation materialsMonitor project progress by tracking development activity, resolving bottlenecks, and publishing status reportsCommunicate project progress to senior management and clients in writing and in daily meetingsSkills5+ years of project or program management experience on large-scale enterprise software implementations that span multiple business units and multi-divisional deploymentsAbility to build trusted partnerships with executives and project teams, both internal and externalStrong working knowledge of software implementation methodologies, with Agile experience preferredAbility to manage project budgets, scope, change orders, and project profitabilityDemonstrated experience managing teams and resolving complex business and application problems in a timely mannerHigh-impact experience in customer-facing, consultative roles at an enterprise software company or professional technology consulting firm, ideally serving industrial, automotive, distribution, consumer packaged goods, chemical, or high-tech clientsBachelor's or Master's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)5 to 7 years of technology consulting and project implementation experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writingStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with sharp attention to detailOrganized, with excellent time-management skillsKnowledge of project management and defect-tracking tools such as JiraProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong working knowledge of software implementation methodologies, with Agile experience preferredPMP, Certified Scrum Master, or a comparable certification is a plusExperience with Vendavo, PriceFx, CPQ, or Salesforce is a plusPricing experience is desirableCompany OverviewBoston Harbor Consulting provides IT consulting services.
