Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to support the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of financial systems with a focus on inbound customer payments and fraud prevention. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams to ensure financial systems operate efficiently and securely, while also managing multiple projects aimed at enhancing these systems.ResponsibilitiesLead projects related to financial systems enhancements, customer payment processing, fraud prevention, and operational risk managementPartner with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirementsServe as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT development teams to ensure successful implementation of system enhancements and process improvementsIdentify opportunities to improve the effectiveness, accuracy, performance, and security of financial systemsCoordinate all phases of project delivery, including planning, requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and post-production supportSupport financial systems testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of new system functionalityMonitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful project executionDevelop solutions for financial system issues and support ongoing maintenance activitiesDrive process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, efficiency, and operational effectivenessAssist with prioritization, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple projects and initiativesEnsure compliance with organizational standards, controls, and security requirementsPrepare project documentation, status reports, business cases, and executive-level communicationsSupport training and knowledge-sharing activities for team members and stakeholdersLeverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Client Copilot, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and project outcomesSkills5+ years of Project Management and/or Product Management experience working with both business stakeholders and technology/development teamsStrong experience leading cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation and deliveryExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to gather, document, and communicate business requirements effectivelyProven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groupsSelf-motivated professional capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExperience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiativesFamiliarity with financial systems, payment processing, reconciliation, or fraud management environmentsExperience using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Client Copilot, or similar platformsAccounts Receivable (A/R)Cash ControlsFinancial ReconciliationOperational Risk ManagementPayment ProcessingPayment Fraud Prevention & DetectionFinancial Systems OperationsCompany OverviewAlpha Consulting Corp. has been exceeding expectations in the IT, pharmaceutical, and clinical staffing business since 1994.
