[Remote] Project Financial Analyst II

The Project Financial Analyst II will be responsible for producing and presenting client reporting, preparing and analyzing financial data, and developing financial insights to support business growth trends and profitability.ResponsibilitiesProduces and presents client reporting and facilitates customer-facing financial discussions to ensure clear financial communication and strong stakeholder engagementPrepares, interprets and analyzes financial data, business metrics, and ad-hoc reports for global managementPrepares key reports such as annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, cost and expense forecasting, monthly utilization, headcount, revenue backlog analysis, and/or gross profit for assigned area. Produces ad hoc reports as requiredDevelops and produces monthly financial reports and commentary, as well as other financial analysis and metrics as required by senior management. Offers methods for improving results by reviewing timeliness, accuracy and efficiencies in reportingServes as a key contact point for interpretation and investigation of financial results in assigned areaProvides financial insights to business growth trends and profitability in assigned areaAssists management and others within Finance department with miscellaneous projects as directed by supervisorDevelops and delivers financial reporting, controls and procedures to ensure financial information is reported accurately and timely for group deadlinesSkillsMust have Pharmaceutical or CRO experienceAbility to utilize protocol and subject data to identify how to build subject visit forecast (i.e., split offorecast by multiple cohorts/arms, split by different subject status)Identify inconsistency within data (i.e., significant change in visit rate for 1 site, currency error due to typo KWW instead of KRW)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essentialProficiency with accounting software packages is necessary and experience with Oracle Finance is preferredDemonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data is requiredRequires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skillsExcellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills are required as well as a high level of personal motivation to achieveThe ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary2 years of financial relevant experienceExperience in Pharma/CRO preferredBenefitsCompany car or car allowanceHealth benefits to include Medical, Dental and VisionCompany match 401kEligibility to participate in Employee Stock Purchase PlanEligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and individual performanceFlexible paid time off (PTO) and sick timeEligibility for paid sick time may vary depending on where you workSyneos complies with all applicable federal, state, and municipal paid sick time requirementsCompany OverviewSyneos Health, the only fully integrated end-to-end clinical and commercial solution organization.
