They are seeking a full-time Microelectronics Project Engineer to support global semiconductor, advanced packaging, solar manufacturing, and data center projects, focusing on technical execution, engineering coordination, and project delivery.ResponsibilitiesSupport technical execution and coordination for microelectronics utility infrastructure projectsWork closely with the Project Manager / Execution Coordinator to support engineering integration, schedule alignment, issue resolution, and execution coordinationCoordinate activities between process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls (I&C), automation, procurement, fabrication, construction, and startup teamsReview and support development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangements (GA), utility integration drawings, control philosophies, and startup documentationMonitor engineering deliverables, action items, document status, and technical interfaces to support timely project executionSupport engineering reviews of vendor quotations, equipment submittals, purchase requisitions, and technical compliance evaluationsCoordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), customer comments, and interdisciplinary technical issuesSupport technical reviews including constructability reviews, operability reviews, maintainability reviews, and risk assessmentsAssist in development and implementation of project standards, startup procedures, commissioning plans, checklists, and Best Known Methods (BKMs)Support field execution activities including installation reviews, field coordination, commissioning support, startup planning, and operational turnoverParticipate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), integrated testing, and startup activitiesCoordinate with construction teams, startup teams, operations personnel, subcontractors, and customersSupport troubleshooting and resolution of technical and field execution issuesSupport turnover package development, punch list tracking, and startup readiness activitiesAssist with operational stabilization and system performance verification activitiesSupport accelerated startup schedules and schedule recovery efforts as requiredInterface directly with customers, vendors, engineering organizations, and construction teamsWork effectively within matrix organizations across multiple disciplines and geographiesParticipate in customer meetings, technical reviews, startup meetings, and execution planning sessionsSupport coordination between global engineering centers, fabrication teams, site teams, and execution organizationsMaintain strong communication and collaboration across project stakeholdersSupport development of repeatable microelectronics execution methodologies and organizational best practicesSkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline)Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant industrial experience preferredDirect experience supporting one or more of the following industries is required: Semiconductor manufacturing, Advanced packaging, Solar manufacturingStrong experience in one or more utility and process systems including: Ultra Pure Water (UPW), Industrial Wastewater Treatment (WWT), Water Reclaim and Reuse Systems, Thermal Utility Systems, Reverse Osmosis (RO) and membrane systems, Chemical treatment systems, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)Experience supporting industrial or semiconductor projects through multiple phases including design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, startup, qualification, and operational turnoverAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and technical documentsStrong organizational, communication, coordination, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work effectively in highly schedule-driven environmentsAbility to travel domestically and internationally as requiredBenefitsPaid time offCompany-paid holidaysA 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility)Company OverviewAquatech is a global leader in water purification technology for industrial and infrastructure markets with a focus on desalination It was founded in 1981, and is headquartered in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
