[Remote] Project Engineer - Data Center

Network Connex is a premier turnkey installer of fiber optic and data center infrastructure, and they are seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering and technical disciplines for various projects. The role involves scheduling, planning, and ensuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projectsMonitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specificationsInteract daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the fieldPerform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project statusAssign responsibilities and mentor project teamCooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical supportReview engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actionsSkills0-2 years of proven working experience as a Project Engineer or similar roleBachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant fieldExcellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCADAdvanced MS Office skillsAbility to work with multiple discipline projectsProject management and supervision skillsDecision making ability and leadership skillsTime management and organization skillsMust have reliable transportation and being willing to travel to sites/work remotelyLift 50 lbs. unassistedWork indoor and outdoor under variable environmental conditionsCPR/First AidBenefitsHealth/Dental/Vision/Prescription Plan: Health, dental, and prescription insurance are available on the 1st of the month following your start date.Basic Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Insurance are fully funded by the company.401(k) Plan with Employer Matching immediate vesting.10 Paid Holidays per year.Company OverviewNetwork Connex provider of mission critical network deployment solutions in fiber optic.
