[Remote] Project Employee, Content Tagging & Management

In this role, you will manage the tagging and organization of NBA content metadata, ensuring accurate classification and alignment to a taxonomy of players, teams, and initiatives while collaborating with data engineers and analysts.ResponsibilitiesOwn social content tagging process that powers content dashboards shared company-wide, including executive leadershipMonitor and update content taxonomy as needed to include new content franchises, players, and initiatives in tagging processDevelop and maintain data tracking schedule to fill data gaps across platformsMonitor data and API connections in Fivetran and communicate errors and findings to database solutions teamMaintain manual data entry and export/upload process for platforms with API gapsCollaborate on data management projects (e.g. data standardization projects, data mapping)Collaborate with content strategy team to determine data gaps and opportunitiesSkillsBachelor's degree preferred or relevant equivalent experienceFamiliarity with NBA basketball, including knowledge of players, teams, plays, and storylines, requiredIntermediate experience working with Microsoft ExcelDetail oriented data background and exemplary analytical skillsKnowledge of social media and digital data a plusAbility to work within demanding timeframes in a dynamic environmentHigh attention to detail, design, and innovationPassion for data and eagerness to learn new analytics tools and languagesBenefitsMedicalShort-term disabilityMental health coaching/therapySick timeCompany OverviewThe National Basketball Association (NBA) is a global sports and media organization with the mission to inspire and connect people everywhere through the power of basketball.
