[Remote] Project Costing Analyst

The Project Costing Analyst is responsible for project costing accounting, reconciliations, and month-end analysis for assigned Yum! brands, working closely with various corporate functions to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.ResponsibilitiesOwn project costing accounting activities, including project setup, monitoring spend, retirements, journal entries for facility, development, national, and overhead projectsPerform timely account reconciliations for assigned brands, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and internal controlsSupport period-end close processes, including preparation of depreciation estimates, expense matrices, software CIP reclasses, and related reportingEnsure adherence to project costing policies by reviewing capitalization, dispositions, capital interest, dead site and pre-capital expenditures, and large-dollar project thresholdsPrepare and analyze project-related financial data, including fixed asset disposals and property loss claim setups and accrualsAssist with internal, SOX, and external audit requests by providing documentation, analysis, and reconciliationsSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related Finance field1-3 years of experience in property accounting, general accounting, or account reconciliationStrong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with financial systems and reporting tools (JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar ERP systems preferred)BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLegalAccidental death and dismembermentFSA/HSAShort-term disabilityLong-term disabilityLife insurance401(k) plan4 weeks of vacationPaid sick leave10 paid holidaysA floating day off2 paid days for volunteer time each calendar yearCompany OverviewYum!
