[Remote] Project Controls Analyst, Scheduler

The Project Controls Analyst, Scheduler supports the Owner’s project delivery team by maintaining owner-level schedules and overseeing General Contractor and subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with contractual milestones and program objectives.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and maintenance of Owner‑level baseline and execution schedules, integrating inputs from GC and trade partner schedulesReview GC and subcontractor schedules for logic, sequencing, milestone compliance, and alignment with Owner contractual requirementsTrack and report schedule performance, key milestones, critical path items, and schedule variances across assigned projectsAssist in identifying schedule risks, constraints, and potential delays, escalating concerns to senior Project Controls and Project Management staffMaintain look‑ahead schedules and schedule summaries for Owner reporting and executive reviewSupport the evaluation of schedule impacts associated with scope changes, design revisions, and field conditionsAssist with time impact analysis (TIA) reviews using GC‑submitted updates and narrativesPrepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, dashboards, and milestone status summaries for internal and external stakeholdersAssist with maintaining Owner cost and cash flow trackers aligned with approved schedulesSupport basic earned value and progress measurement activities, focusing on schedule performance indicatorsHelp track and communicate cost and schedule impacts of change events and project prolongationAssist senior team members with variance analysis, focusing on schedule‑driven cost exposureSupport maintenance of project risk logs, with emphasis on schedule‑related risks and mitigationsHelp ensure consistency between GC schedule submissions, Owner schedules, and program‑level reporting toolsCoordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and external partners to collect, validate, and document schedule updatesAssist in maintaining document control standards for planning and scheduling documentationSupport project close‑out activities, including final schedule updates and record documentationSkillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline5–8 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, construction planning, or related rolesFoundational understanding of construction scheduling principles, including critical path, milestones, and progress measurementFamiliarity with schedule review and oversight rather than contractor schedule developmentBasic understanding of earned value, cash flow forecasting, and cost tracking conceptsStrong Excel skills and ability to support schedule and performance dashboardsStrong attention to detail and ability to organize large volumes of schedule and project dataEffective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support Owner reporting and reviewsWillingness to learn and grow within an Owner‑side project controls environmentExposure to owner‑side, program‑level, or multi‑project environments is a plusData center or large‑scale commercial construction experience preferred but not requiredExperience or exposure to Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools preferredBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) retirement planflexible spending and HSA accountsPaid holidaysPTOEmployee assistance programOther company benefitsCompany OverviewEdged is an information technology company that launches a global network of sustainable data centers and energy infrastructure.
