[Remote] Programmer Systems Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MetroPlusHealth is seeking a Programmer/Systems Analyst to support their Production team and business unit with critical software applications. The role involves developing custom scripts, testing applications, and performing maintenance on legacy systems while collaborating with IT staff and end users to meet application specifications.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Collaborate with the development team and other IT staff to set specifications for new applications
ā¢ Interact with end users to verify detailed specifications
ā¢ Understand client requirements and how they translate to new application features
ā¢ Participate in detailed programming development and testing of interfaces according to the specifications
ā¢ Write high-quality code to program complete applications on schedule
ā¢ Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
ā¢ Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
ā¢ Plan and participate in the application deployment. Work closely with the Service Desk to coordinate installation of new applications, if needed
ā¢ Participate in the application post-implementation phase to ensure the application meet the business requirements. Stay on track of the application lifecycle to ensure necessary updates are completed on time
ā¢ Provide assists for on-going application maintenance. Find solutions to security threats, viruses, or errors that might hinder the performance of applications
ā¢ Provide suggestions to supervisor to improve system/application performance
ā¢ Develop technical documentation
ā¢ Evaluate operational changes that result from system implementation, provide such feedback to supervisor for review
ā¢ Carry out regular security and performance checks
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in related field required
ā¢ 5+ years' experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
ā¢ Understanding of software design and programming principles
ā¢ Project management skills
ā¢ Operational and technical experience with development tools include but not limited to VB.NET; C#; Web Services, REST API, Angular (or similar Java script frameworks), Visual Studio (Current and Previous Versions), Python, LINQ, Regular Expressions, XML, JSON and other tools applicable
ā¢ Strong understanding of Microsoft DevOps framework; Content Versioning; Agile methodology
ā¢ Strong experience with Database design, including Microsoft SQL Server database platform (latest version) with a focus on T-SQL
ā¢ Strong experience with SSIS
ā¢ Analytical ability to evaluate and construct accurate and efficient programming solution to business problems
ā¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Ability to understand business needs
ā¢ Ability to learn new software tools
ā¢ Ability to work independently with little supervision
ā¢ Excellent verbal/written communication skills; Understand policies and procedures
ā¢ Interpersonal skills to be able to work with team of members on assigned project
ā¢ Experience with Salesforce, AI is a plus
ā¢ Knowledge of HealthCare industry is a plus
