[Remote] Programmer Systems Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MetroPlusHealth is seeking a Programmer/Systems Analyst to support their Production team and business unit with critical software applications. The role involves developing custom scripts, testing applications, and performing maintenance on legacy systems while collaborating with IT staff and end users to meet application specifications.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the development team and other IT staff to set specifications for new applicationsInteract with end users to verify detailed specificationsUnderstand client requirements and how they translate to new application featuresParticipate in detailed programming development and testing of interfaces according to the specificationsWrite high-quality code to program complete applications on scheduleBuild the front-end of applications through appealing visual designDevelop and manage well-functioning databases and applicationsPlan and participate in the application deployment. Work closely with the Service Desk to coordinate installation of new applications, if neededParticipate in the application post-implementation phase to ensure the application meet the business requirements. Stay on track of the application lifecycle to ensure necessary updates are completed on timeProvide assists for on-going application maintenance. Find solutions to security threats, viruses, or errors that might hinder the performance of applicationsProvide suggestions to supervisor to improve system/application performanceDevelop technical documentationEvaluate operational changes that result from system implementation, provide such feedback to supervisor for reviewCarry out regular security and performance checksSkillsBachelor's degree in related field required5+ years' experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleUnderstanding of software design and programming principlesProject management skillsOperational and technical experience with development tools include but not limited to VB.NET; C#; Web Services, REST API, Angular (or similar Java script frameworks), Visual Studio (Current and Previous Versions), Python, LINQ, Regular Expressions, XML, JSON and other tools applicableStrong understanding of Microsoft DevOps framework; Content Versioning; Agile methodologyStrong experience with Database design, including Microsoft SQL Server database platform (latest version) with a focus on T-SQLStrong experience with SSISAnalytical ability to evaluate and construct accurate and efficient programming solution to business problemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to understand business needsAbility to learn new software toolsAbility to work independently with little supervisionExcellent verbal/written communication skills; Understand policies and proceduresInterpersonal skills to be able to work with team of members on assigned projectExperience with Salesforce, AI is a plusKnowledge of HealthCare industry is a plusCompany OverviewMetroPlusHealth provides health insurance to individuals, families, and small businesses.
