[Remote] Program & Project Manager

This role involves leading the implementation of a new case management system and managing broader business and IT projects, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions while driving project execution.ResponsibilitiesLeads the end-to-end implementation of a new case management system, including planning, requirements gathering, process design, configuration oversight, stakeholder engagement, testing, deployment, and post-implementation optimizationEstablishes program structure, governance, timelines, milestones, and success metrics for the case management system initiativePartners with business leaders, IT, and vendors to align system capabilities with operational needs and strategic goalsIdentifies process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance system effectivenessLeads and supports multiple concurrent business and technology projects and initiatives, ensuring prioritization, resource alignment, and on-time deliveryDevelops and maintains project plans, timelines, risk logs, and status reports across initiativesCollaborates with IT leadership to support broader technology roadmap execution and cross-functional project dependenciesOversees software implementation, enhancements, and lifecycle management for current case management system and other business applicationsLeads enhancement request process; prioritizes requests, gathers stakeholder input, and tracks to completionCreates and maintains business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specificationsServes as liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to ensure clear communication and successful deliveryCoordinates and leads user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and business readinessManages change management processes, including communication plans, training, and user adoption strategiesAssists with development and maintenance of training materials, system documentation, and user manualsMonitors program and project performance, proactively identifying risks and implementation migration strategiesFosters team cohesion by consistently demonstrating diplomatic, professional, and effective written and verbal communicationStrictly adheres to company confidentiality policies and procedures, safeguarding sensitive information at all timesPerforms any other duties as may be assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience5-7 years work experience in project and/or program management, including software or IT initiativesDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects or programs, including prioritization and resource coordinationStrong experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and vendorsMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP not required)Experience with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Azure DevOps or similar)Experience coordinating and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT)An understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong decision making and organizational skillsAbility to perform processing duties with minimal supervisionHigh degree of professionalism and personal presenceAbility to interact effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all timesBenefitsMedical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition ReimbursementFree Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy ServicesPaid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.Company OverviewBrown & Brown delivers risk management solutions to help protect and preserve what our customers value most.
