[Remote] Program Manager - Statewide Training

The Program Manager provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of social service programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery and collaboration with partners to support individuals and families with complex needs.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for fulfilling all duties related to emergency preparedness, evacuation, and client safety, including support of individuals who may not be capable of self-preservation, in accordance with TN Voices Employee Policies and TN State Department regulations and CARF StandardsOversight and coordination of all program activities, including planning, support, and implementationSupervision of Outreach Specialists and daily operations of programs in the three grand regionsCoordination to ensure informational materials are strategically represented at conferences, health fairs, and information fairs across the stateParticipation in policymaking and advisory groups to support parents and facilitate collaboration between professionals and parentsActive advocacy for best practices and system of care principles for children and families in various settings, including mental health planning councils, coalitions, courts, and school meetingsEncouragement and support of service coordination for children with SED and their familiesEnsure Outreach Specialists participate in regional and community meetings, task forces, and coalitions related to child and youth-serving systemsEnsure all data and reports (including timesheets, expense reports, and monthly program reports) are properly managed and documentedProvide monthly record review and supervision for each Outreach SpecialistCoordinate planning and execution of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week events across the stateDetermine newsletter content and coordinate with the Program Director and other TN Voices staff to execute the TN Voices quarterly newsletterFacilitate weekly team meetingsTrain new staffAttend and participate in all required management team meetingsCollaborate with the East TN Regional Director on program scope of services, implementation, and sustainabilityEnsure compliance with CARF standards applicable to the services providedPerform other duties and tasks as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred, with experience working with mental health, disabilities, or special populations preferredAt least three (3) years of experience working with parents of children/youth, volunteers, state and local agencies, and task forces or other community groups, including parent training, consultation, and supportThree (3) years of experience in a supervisory role is preferred. Experience in networking with other agencies, organizations, and coalitions is requiredExcellent collaboration, customer service, supervisory, management, and leadership skillsKnowledge of the service area and of resources for children with mental health issuesKnowledge and personal experience with children who have behavioral disordersKnowledge and experience with juvenile justice, educational, and other child-serving systemsDesire to help and support parents of children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) with strong customer service skillsCommitment to system of care principles, cultural competency, and effective teamworkExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving/creative thinking skillsExcellent written and computer skillsValid driver's license, proof of automobile insuranceCompany OverviewTN Voices offers peer support, mental health counseling, youth screening, and parent advocacy training services for children and adults.
