They are seeking an AI Governance Program Manager Senior to advance responsible AI and governance practices, supporting the design and implementation of governance frameworks and compliance initiatives across the organization.ResponsibilitiesInterpret emerging AI governance regulations, standards, and industry frameworks, and apply them to real-world AI use cases across the organizationSupport AI governance compliance initiatives by identifying gaps, recommending remediation activities, and assisting with internal and external auditsConduct and own risk assessments for complex AI systems, including identifying systemic risks, monitoring model bias trends, and evaluating mitigation strategiesParticipate in AI model and algorithm reviews to assess governance, compliance, ethical, and operational risk considerationsContribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of AI governance frameworks, controls, standards, and operational processesMap governance controls to applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards such as ISO, NIST, and emerging AI regulatory frameworksLead components of governance framework reviews and drive continuous improvements to governance processes and documentationPartner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, Legal, Privacy, and Enterprise Risk teams to operationalize responsible AI practicesDevelop governance reports, presentations, risk summaries, and technical documentation tailored to both technical and non-technical audiencesSupport governance committees, audit activities, and regulatory inquiries with minimal oversightManage governance initiatives end-to-end, including timelines, dependencies, stakeholder coordination, and delivery accountabilityEvaluate AI and data architecture considerations to identify governance, compliance, privacy, and operational risks associated with AI systemsSupport metadata governance, model documentation, model inventory management, and AI lifecycle governance activitiesAnticipate business impacts of governance decisions and communicate recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders across the organizationHelp foster a culture of responsible AI, ethical data usage, and continuous governance improvement across DayforceSkills5+ years of experience in AI governance, technology risk, data governance, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, model risk management, or related fieldsPost-secondary education certificate or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, Data Governance, Law, Business, or a related discipline requiredStrong understanding of AI governance principles, model risk management concepts, and responsible AI practicesFamiliarity with global AI and data regulations, frameworks, and standards including ISO, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, GDPR, and related governance requirementsExperience conducting risk assessments, control evaluations, or compliance reviews for AI, data, or technology systemsUnderstanding of AI/ML lifecycle concepts, model behavior evaluation, bias detection, performance monitoring, and governance implications of AI systemsAbility to interpret technical concepts and translate governance or compliance impacts for diverse audiencesExperience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage ambiguity and complex situationsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate governance discussionsDemonstrated project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple initiatives, timelines, and dependencies simultaneouslyExperience drafting governance documentation, standards, procedures, reports, or audit artifactsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functionsIAPP certification preferredExperience working in a SaaS or cloud-based technology environment highly desirableFamiliarity with agile delivery environments and enterprise governance processes preferredBenefitsDayforce employees and their families are eligible to participate in the following benefits programs: medical, dental, vison, and life insurance.Dayforce employees are also eligible to participate in a 401k plan (plus match) and a Global Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Employees also receive unlimited Time Away From Work (in lieu of accrued vacation time), 10 paid US holidays, up to 80 hours of paid sick time and 17 weeks of paid parental leave, subject to the terms of the applicable policy or program.With a commitment to community impact, including volunteer days and our charity, Dayforce Cares we provide opportunities for you to thrive both in your career and personal life.Company OverviewDayforce is a time and attendance application that helps businesses automate clocking and streamline employee payroll.
