As a Program Manager in the Cengage School portfolio, you will be responsible for planning and executing platform migrations, managing complex projects, and ensuring successful delivery through collaboration with various teams.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Content & Portfolio, Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue Operations to gather all operational and customer-facing milestones and tasks to be tracked from inception to final deliveryCreate unified schedules, manage dependencies, and track progress across multiple workstreams - product data/setup, physical inventory, customer entitlements, content migration/product availability, technology releasesDrive communication on program health up and across the organizationIdentify and communicate needs of the program to ensure it is set up for success, including the creation of a "playbook" that can be used as a template for all platform migrationsServe as triage point for incoming requests from stakeholders, using internal networks to solve or escalate problemsSkills3-6 years of experience in project or program managementSolid ability to lead by influence; e.g., successfully deliver large projects and programs without having direct authority over teamsTenacity and flexibility in problem solving, with the awareness to know how and when to change direction based on the input and feedback of partnersExpert at facilitating high-functioning meetings, including leading productive conversations, and securing and documenting decisions efficientlyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsEligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program15% Annual: Individual TargetCompany OverviewCengage, a global edtech company, supports learners, educators and institutions across more than 100 countries.
