[Remote] Program Manager - CMS Health Programs

They are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a high-visibility federal health program, responsible for operations management, stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, and staff leadership.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for CMS contracting and program leadershipOversee end-to-end program delivery: operations, staffing, subcontractor management, and quality assuranceLead program planning, scheduling, risk management, and compliance reporting per CMS standardsDirect a multidisciplinary team including clinical, analytical, legal, and operations staffManage program financials including budget tracking, burn rate monitoring, and EVM reporting as requiredEnsure all deliverables and SLAs are met on time and within scope; proactively communicate risks and mitigationsSupport transition activities including transition-in planning and knowledge transferCoordinate with CMS policy, legal, and operational teams on program evolution and regulatory changesSkillsBachelor's degree required; master's preferred (Business, Health Administration, Public Policy, or related)8+ years of progressive program/project management experience in federal government contracting5+ years leading federal health programs; CMS, HHS, or health insurance regulatory program experience strongly preferredDemonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar cost-plus or fixed-price contractsPMP certification required (or obtainable within 6 months of award)Strong knowledge of federal acquisition and contract compliance (FAR/DFARS)Excellent written and verbal communication; experience briefing senior government stakeholdersMust be eligible for and obtain a CMS Public Trust (MBI) clearanceDirect experience with CMSExperience with dispute resolution, case management, or adjudication platforms/programsBackground in health insurance operations, managed care, or provider contractingCompany OverviewCommence delivers AI-driven healthcare data platform and clinical expertise that supports analytics, decisions, and workflow improvement.
