[Remote] Program Manager - Army Programs

Allen Control Systems is seeking a Program Manager - Army Programs to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of programs supporting the United States Army, particularly in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and counter-UAS (CUAS) technologies. The role involves liaising with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing program execution within defined parameters.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end program management for Army initiatives, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk, using established frameworks such as the DoD acquisition lifecycleServe as the primary point of contact with Army stakeholders including Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and contracting officers; develop and deliver program status reports, briefings, and executive communicationsDrive execution of programs involving UAS and CUAS technologies, ensuring alignment between technical development, operational requirements, and deployment timelinesEnsure compliance with DoD policies including FAR and DFARS; coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, logistics, finance, and cybersecurity to meet mission requirementsIdentify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and oversee subcontractors and vendors supporting Army programs to ensure program successSupport proposal development and capture efforts for new Army business opportunities, particularly in UAS/CUAS domains; travel to Army installations or program sites as requiredSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field; Master's preferred7–15+ years of program or project management experience, preferably supporting DoD or Army programsExperience supporting or working with UAS, CUAS, autonomous systems, or related defense technologiesStrong understanding of Army structure, operations, and acquisition processes; experience managing cost-plus, fixed-price, or IDIQ contractsProficiency with program management tools such as MS Project or Earned Value Management systems; strong communication, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skillsActive Secret or Top Secret security clearancePMP or equivalent project management certificationPrior military service or direct experience working with Army commandsExperience supporting major Army commands such as Army Futures Command, TRADOC, or Army Materiel CommandDirect experience with UAS/CUAS programs, counter-drone systems, or related operational environmentsFamiliarity with Agile methodology in defense environmentsBenefitsCompetitive salaryACS Equity PackageHealth, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffCompany OverviewAllen Control Systems develops autonomous defense technologies designed to detect, track, and counter unmanned aerial threats.
