[Remote] Program Manager

They are seeking a Program Manager to oversee governance, operational readiness, and communication between two merging organizations, ensuring alignment and risk management throughout the integration process.ResponsibilitiesDefine and run the integration governance model: decision rights, escalation paths, RAID log, status rhythmsConnect workstreams (pre-app, marketing channels, ops, tech) so nothing falls through the seams between organizationsProactively identify operational and compliance risks unique to a new-to-acquirer use caseTrack issues across org boundaries and drive resolution before they block the programKnow when to escalate and to whomSpot gaps before they become misalignmentsMaintain a consistent narrative across both organizations at multiple levels from working teams to senior stakeholdersAsk the inconvenient questions earlyOwn the operational readiness framework for account opening, loan servicing, and ops handoffsWork with finance and ops partners to ensure the model runs sustainably post-integrationUnderstand system dependencies, integration points, and the downstream ops implications of architectural decisionsSkillsExperience managing complex, multi-party integration programs at large financial services firmsBackground in banking operations, including account opening, loan processing, or similarDemonstrated ops and/or risk management orientation (not just delivery tracking)Enough technical literacy to hold architecture conversations and understand dependency chainsExceptional organizational skills, including comfortable running multiple workstreams simultaneouslyComfortable navigating ambiguity; able to create structure where none existsBachelor's Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is requiredPrior experience in a merger/acquisition integration contextPersonal loans product knowledge including originations, pre-app, marketing channel integrationsFinance business partnering exposure (budgets, resource tracking, reporting)Track record building governance frameworks from scratch, not just inheriting themBenefitsCompetitive compensationProfessional development opportunitiesFlexible work arrangementsCompany OverviewKunai is now part of the PwC network: https://www.pwc.com/us/en/about-us/newsroom/press-releases/kunai.html ----- Kunai was born from experience.
