Equitable Hiring Group is seeking a Program Manager to join Strong Families, an organization dedicated to community organizing and civic engagement. The Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community programs, engaging with leaders and partners to foster change and improve family wellbeing in New Mexico and surrounding areas.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program projects including the legislative program, campaigns, events, community outreach, and leadership development projectsEngages community leaders, organizational partners, and community members to meet program goals and objectivesMaintains and builds strong working relationships with community leaders and organizational partners with the vision of building long-term collaborations between the organization and othersLeads or co-leads community meetings and trainings, local events, and other outreach efforts such as door-to-door canvassing, site canvassing, phone banks, or text banks to meet program goalsCreates community resources and training materials to meet program goalsCreates and maintains the annual communications calendar for regular sharing of Strong Families programmatic work via website, social media, email, and earned mediaAttends campaign and coalition meetings as needed to learn, share updates, strategize, and collaborate with partner organizationsUses project management tools and systems to plan, track, and communicate work progressUses systems to document qualitative and quantitative metrics on Strong Families’ program workAnalyzes and synthesizes data findings, outcomes, and impact indicators and writes program reports to share findings on our work for internal and external use as neededWrites content for emails, letters, social media posts, and other communication as neededCollaborates with vendors and consultants as neededMay supervise volunteers and interns as assignedTravels for events and meetings within New Mexico up to 20 times per year for 1-4 days at a stretch (Travel is 1-2 times per month average with higher travel frequency during legislative sessions in Santa Fe and higher travel frequency across the state during peak campaign times which shift from year to year)Travels out of state 1-3 times per year for conferences or trainingCreates and monitors program project and event budgets in alignment with the organizational budgetOversees, maintains, and updates the main organizational database/CRM for the individuals, organizations, and work related to programmingAccurately tracks and reports lobbying activities.
