[Remote] Program Manager

They are seeking a Program Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for federal transition assistance programs supporting military service members. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and delivering services to transitioning service members across military installations.ResponsibilitiesProviding overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the successful execution of large-scale federal transition assistance programs supporting military Service members transitioning to civilian lifeOverseeing program management, staffing, operational deployment, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination across geographically dispersed teams operating both CONUS and OCONUSServing as the primary point of contact with Government leadership, ensuring all contractual deliverables, schedules, reporting requirements, and performance standards are met in accordance with federal regulations and program objectivesLeading cross-functional teams responsible for curriculum development, training operations, onsite support services, data analysis, and modernization initiativesManaging project implementation plans, staffing strategies, operational readiness, and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with all security, privacy, and quality control requirementsOverseeing large-scale workforce operations, maintaining effective communication with Government stakeholders, coordinating regional operations, monitoring program risks, and supporting the delivery of transition assistance services to approximately 200,000 transitioning Service members annually across more than 300 military installations worldwideSkills12 years of experienceMaster's degree in related field5 years of experience in managing programs of a national scope, preferable for the DoDProject Management Professional certification (or equivalent industry recognized project management certification)Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologiesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think criticallyAbility to manage competing deadlinesExperience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal governmentComfortability with supporting complex client relationshipsAbility to obtain and maintain a public trust clearanceLegal authorization to work in the U.SStrong critical thinking, analytical and time management skillsProven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with othersAbility to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orallyAbility to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentAbility to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectivelyAbility to get up to speed quickly on complex issuesDesire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environmentCompany OverviewAptive Resources is a management consulting firm focused on human experience, digital services and business transformation.
