[Remote] Program Engineer/Technical Sales

They are seeking a Program Engineer to manage program and project planning, ensuring timely communication and problem resolution for customer work in the Asia Pacific region.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for end-to-end program management, including program and project planning, progress tracking, cost control, risk identification and problem-solving, to ensure projects are delivered on time and with qualified qualityDevelop a strong consultative relationship with customersPromote the combined offerings of Standex Engraving (Chemical, Laser, Tool Finishing, etc.)Provide customers with technical support and solutions (tooling, molded parts, etc.)Manage the details of upcoming jobs to ensure that tools are ready to move through the texturing process when they arrive at facilityAccurate and timely dissemination of informationPerforms intermediate to advanced part mark-ups texture line-upsAttends customer meetingsCommunicate with customers on requirements, coordinate with internal departments including production, engineering and quality, allocate resources effectively, and promote cross-departmental communication and collaborationManage program documentation, organize meetings, prepare progress reports. Control key program milestones, and standardize program management processesSkillsUniversity degree (4 yr) or aboveRelevant working experience in project or program management; experience in mold industry projects is preferred; familiar with project team collaboration and project execution processesProactive and results-driven with strong execution; cheerful personality, eager to learn new knowledge with good adaptabilityExcellent communication and coordination skills with a strong sense of responsibilityDetail orientatedGood communication of technical details is essential, both verbally and writtenSelf-starter with ability to work under minimal supervisionAbility to effectively interface with an array of customer personalities, in various situationsStrong collaboration skills to work cross functionallyAccurate transcription of information – proficient data entry skillsProficiency with Microsoft office suiteProblem solving and technical aptitude essentialAbility to travel as needed: approximately 30% - 40% domestic, and 3-4 internationally trips annuallyExperience in mold industry projects is preferredBasic Chinese communication preferredExperience with SAP (or another ERP system) desiredCompany OverviewAutomotive Textures and Injection Mold coatings.
