[Remote] Program Control Analyst

They are seeking a motivated Program Control Analyst to manage program control and financial analysis within the Army Navy Business Group, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and preparing various financial reports.ResponsibilitiesSignificant interface with Program Managers, Senior Technical Staff as well as other functional organizations including Finance, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Procurement and Program AccountingParticipates in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of riskPreparation of financial deliverables and internal/external reports to include Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, monthly latest revised estimates (LREs), Monthly Status Reports, Contract Status Reports, Cost Reports and Estimates-At-Complete (EACs)Administer and track the progress of contracts from award to contract closeout to include contract set-up, billing including cash flow analysis and reportingMonitor and prepare reports on cost and schedule variances to keep project on schedule and budget and follows established procedures while contributing to the completion of organizational projects and goalsReview and monitor contract funding and expendituresPrepare accruals and perform month end activitiesEnsure revenue is recorded according to the EAC and provide accurate data for inclusion in quarterly forecast plansAbility to build and maintain bottomâs up estimate at completions on all project types, meet deadlines for submissions, certifications and provide management with ongoing status of EACs and detailed budgets as contractually requiredEnsures adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley and all corporate policies and procedures as they relate to contract performance and financialsSubmitting and maintaining purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; monitoring subcontractorâs cost and review/approve of invoicesMust be able to work well in a team environment, multi-task and support program with efficiency and accuracyProvide insight and guidance to Management Team based on analysisSkillsBachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a Finance or Accounting discipline with three (3) years or more of relevant experience in Federal government contractingExperience in providing financial tracking and support for the government customer in areas of Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, and/or AccountingKnowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principlesComplete understanding of financial analysis such as Net Margin, Operating Margin, annual operating plans, accounts receivable, and revenue & profit forecasts, as well as an understanding of the preparation of program baseline data, EAC development, and cost estimating/pricingAnalytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as the ability to operate independently and as a strong member of a teamStrong organizational and communication skills, the ability to perform effectively within deadlinesAbility to prioritize and work with minimal supervision, be persistent in follow-throughProficient in MS Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)US Citizenship RequiredMust be able to get a Secret ClearanceCompany OverviewSAIC specializes in IT, enterprise IT, engineering, and professional services.
