They are seeking a Production Process Engineer Supervisor II to lead a team of technicians in a polyurethane manufacturing operation, ensuring process stability, product quality, and efficient production operations.ResponsibilitiesLead and support Process Technicians during daily manufacturing operationsSpend the majority of the workday on the production floor monitoring processes, equipment, and technician performanceEnsure production activities are performed safely, efficiently, and according to established proceduresProvide coaching, guidance, and accountability to techniciansMonitor polyurethane manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and process stabilityReview production data, process parameters, and operational performance throughout the shiftVerify proper machine setup and adherence to established process controlsTroubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions when necessarySupport efforts to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and increase operational efficiencyCoordinate with Maintenance to support equipment repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and process-related troubleshootingWork with Tooling, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support production objectivesAssist with prototype, service, and special production activities as requiredReview previous shift performance and communicate operational prioritiesParticipate in daily production reviews and performance discussionsMaintain accurate departmental records, reports, and documentationSupport production during off-hours when significant process-related issues require technical leadership and oversightSkillsAssociate degree in a technical field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and manufacturing experienceMinimum three years of polyurethane manufacturing and processing experienceDemonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of process control and manufacturing operationsExperience troubleshooting production and process-related issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and WordExperience leading manufacturing technicians or production teamsExperience with continuous improvement initiativesKnowledge of quality systems, root-cause analysis, and corrective action methodologiesBasic tooling and production equipment knowledgeCompany OverviewThe Lear Corporation is a Fortune 500 company with world-class products designed, It was founded in 1917, and is headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
