[Remote] Product Owner-Marketing
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AAPC is seeking a Product Owner for their Marketing group to enhance their marketing website and martech ecosystem. The role involves translating product strategy into actionable backlog items, ensuring high-quality implementation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.ResponsibilitiesRun the day to day - lead agile rituals for marketing engineering workstreams (planning, backlog refinement, reviews/retros) across a global teamOwn, groom, and prioritize backlog for Marketing Engineering initiatives aligned to the Marketing PM’s roadmapWrite detailed user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria that accurately reflect business goals and user needsPartner with developers, stakeholders, UX/UI designers, Product, and content strategists to deliver initiatives end-to-endRemove blockers and coordinate dependencies across teamsSupport feature and content delivery for aapc.com, including templates, landing pages, navigation updates, conversion improvements, and technical SEO needsPartner closely with engineering teams to define, prioritize, and translate complex technical requirements into actionable user storiesPartner with designers to clarify requirements and ensure UX/brand consistencyValidate release quality through acceptance testing, UAT coordination, and post-launch checksTrack and resolve defects, gaps in requirements, and edge cases quicklyAct as the primary day-to-day liaison between Marketing Engineering and stakeholders in Marketing, the larger Product organization, Content, Design, and Engineering groupsClarify priorities, align dependencies, and communicate timelines, risks, and tradeoffs with PM and stakeholdersKeep relevant teams informed of upcoming releases and progressHelp maintain strong agile/product hygiene (clear definitions of done/ready, healthy backlog, visible progress)Identify recurring bottlenecks and propose improvements to team workflowsContribute to documentation for new features, processes, and martech/tooling updatesCoordinate website releases and go-to-market readiness with Marketing, Sales, and Customer SuccessSkills5+ years experience as a Product Owner, Digital Project Manager, or similar delivery-focused role and comfort with technical product ownershipDemonstrated experience working within the software development lifecycle delivering digital experiences and running teams within agile frameworkSavy with common delivery tools, including Jira/Confluence, FigmaStrong ability to translate goals into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaExcellent communication and stakeholder coordination skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliveryBonus points for experience running marketing sites, growth funnels and e-commerce chops, supporting CMS-driven marketing websites and/or martech ecosystemsBenefitsCompetitive compensation commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insuranceHealth Savings AccountGenerous PTO and Holiday Pay401(k) retirement planCompany OverviewAAPC - Certification for the business side of healthcare.
