They are seeking a Product Manager for their STINGER brand to drive product and portfolio growth in roofing underlayments, cap fastening tools, and moisture control systems, ensuring alignment with market demands and contractor needs.ResponsibilitiesExecute the product roadmap and lifecycle management for STINGER-branded underlayments, cap fasteners, and tool systems across residential and commercial roofing marketsDrive brand growth by identifying product gaps, developing new product opportunities, and leading cross-functional execution in partnership with product developmentServe as the voice of the roofing contractor, gathering field insights through jobsite visits, trade events, and direct customer interaction to inform roadmap direction and positioningCollaborate with the product development team to ensure product readiness, technical feasibility, and installation successGuide competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and promotional planning to maintain and expand STINGER’s market positionPartner with sales, brand, and marketing to develop training materials, merchandising plans, and go-to-market support for product launchesSupport continuous improvement of the product portfolio through VOC research, channel feedback, and product performance reviewsOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field5+ years of product management experience in roofing, fasteners, building materials, or pro tool systemsStrong understanding of roofing systems, underlayment applications, fastener tools, and contractor workflowsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional product initiatives from ideation through launch and ongoing lifecycle managementProven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sourcing, sales, and marketingHighly organized and analytical, with the ability to assess product performance, pricing, and cost driversSkilled in gathering and applying field-based insights to inform product strategy and development prioritiesStrong communicator with the ability to clearly present product concepts, technical details, and business cases to both internal and external audiencesPassion for continuous improvementAbility to turn vision and strategy into actionKnowledge of residential and light commercial roofing applications, especially in the context of moisture management, fastener installation, and underlayment systemsExperience working across wholesale, retail, and STAFDA distribution channelsFamiliarity with VOC/VOM research methods and new product commercialization best practicesProficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM platforms, with experience using dashboarding and analytics tools such as Power BI or Salesforce to support decision-making and product performance trackingEffective at bridging the gap between technical data and business impact through clear written and verbal communicationWillingness and ability to travel up to 25% to support contractor engagement, attend industry/trade events, and develop strategic partnerships across regionsAlign with our purpose, 8 character traits, and cornerstonesNational brand experience preferredBilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, due to frequent interaction with a diverse field and installer baseCompany OverviewNational Nail is an employee-owned manufacturer and distributor of high-quality, innovative products and service solutions for residential and commercial construction industries.
