[Remote] Product Manager - Personal Care Ingredients

Azelis is a company focused on the personal care industry, and they are seeking a Product Manager to enhance supplier relationships and optimize the ingredient portfolio. The role involves driving growth, delivering strategic market insights, and supporting sales teams to ensure customers receive the right ingredient solutions.ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing the portfolio of product lines by building internal and external relationships, supporting growth objectives (sales, volume, GP), and helping fulfill supplier reporting requirementsManage all product operational information within the supplier’s portfolio & disseminate to relevant parties (i.e. new product launches, discontinuations & shortages, as well as standard pricing, pack sizes & lead times)Participate in industry and supplier events to represent the organization and strengthen supplier engagementLead negotiations of supplier costing and the establishment of selling price and margin objectives for the sales teamWork with Sales Leaders and Principal Development Managers to support new business development and advance customer projectsAssist Sales Leaders in managing and optimizing the opportunity pipeline for new business, including collaborating with suppliers and sales teams on actions needed to close customer projectsSupport the analysis of supplier strategies and contribute to the development of marketing plans that reflect supplier directionGather and organize market intelligence, competitor insights, and sales updates to meet supplier requirements and support presentations & promotional campaignsMonitor and report on market & competitive activity to ensure product strategies reflect current industry trendsCollaborate with the Demand Planning Lead to support supplier forecasting & inventory levels, including inputs from customer forecasts as well as the open opportunity pipelineAssist in meeting internal reporting requirements and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of submitted informationContribute to the development and enhancement of internal systems, tools, and processes to improve team efficiency and effectivenessCommunicate proactively with cross-functional teams, share best practices, and identify improvement opportunitiesSynthesize information received from suppliers and help disseminate relevant updates and insights to commercial teamsSkillsFull-time remote role.
