[Remote] Product Manager III (LOC)

The Product Manager III will support product vision and strategy while collaborating with federal stakeholders to drive improvements in product management processes and deliver critical services.ResponsibilitiesPartner with federal product owners and agency stakeholders to shape product vision, strategy, and roadmap across program workstreams including Registration, Recordation, Licensing, and Public RecordsOwn and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog that reflects real user needs, program dependencies, and agency prioritiesLead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives within a SAFe delivery environmentTranslate complex technical and policy requirements into clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteriaTrack and communicate delivery progress, risks, and blockers to both internal teams and federal stakeholders with transparency and clarityCollaborate with UX researchers, engineers, and accessibility specialists to ensure features are evidence-based, technically feasible, and accessible before sprint commitmentProactively identify and escalate risks with recommended mitigations, maintaining clear escalation paths aligned with senior leadershipDevelop and maintain product documentation including roadmaps, release plans, product briefs, and sprint artifactsCoach and mentor junior team members, providing actionable feedback that supports growth within the product disciplineSkills6+ years of relevant product management experience and a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degreeMust meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation as a condition of employmentDemonstrated experience working in agile and SAFe delivery environments, with the ability to apply the right methodology to the situation rather than following any single framework rigidlyProven ability to manage and prioritize complex backlogs across multiple workstreams with competing prioritiesStrong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including federal agency partnersExperience decomposing complex problems into actionable stories, roadmap items, and delivery plansComfortable facilitating cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, QA, and program leadershipClear written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for agency stakeholders and executive audiences alikePrior experience with federal agency digital services or government contracting environmentsFamiliarity with copyright, licensing, records management, or other regulatory/compliance-driven domainsExperience supporting SAFe PI planning, ART coordination, or multi-team program deliveryCSPO, CPM, CSM, or other relevant agile or product certificationsExperience working alongside UX research and accessibility teams in an integrated delivery modelBenefitsCompany-subsidized health, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible PTO401K with employer matchPaid parental leave after one year of serviceEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany OverviewAd Hoc is a digital services company that helps the federal government better serve people.
