[Remote] Product Manager II - US Derivatives

The Product Manager II for US Derivatives will lead the roadmap and strategy for derivatives products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions and enhance user engagement.ResponsibilitiesAssume ownership of the prediction markets and event-based contracts product roadmap, functional design and competitive strategyLead relevant working groups including front-end applications and APIs from ideation to product launchWork closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance and other product managers to manage priorities within the working group and balance the needs of internal stakeholders on the product road mapContribute to the development of the strategy, road map, and business plan for prediction markets, event based contracts and other US derivative productsPerform research to gain market insights across the industryPerform User Acceptance Testing and ensure that engineering work has been built to meet the requirements laid outHelp to manage engagement with customers, internal and various other external partiesEvangelize the power of analytics and experimentation in building a data-driven organizationSkillsWorking knowledge of US CFTC based derivative products, including but not limited to event-based contracts and strong understanding of market design and structurePrevious experience building out US derivative trading products for institutional and/or retail clientsProven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex, high-impact productsFamiliarity with flow of funds within different parties that engage with US based derivatives products and crypto native spot productsPrevious product management experience, with a minimum of 1 year in crypto and/or forex/brokerage industries; preferably derivative focused offeringsStrong knowledge of global crypto derivative offerings across traditional markets and crypto-native CeFi & DeFiExceptional communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to distill complex ideasCompany OverviewKraken is a global cryptocurrency exchange platform that allows users to buy, sell, and trade digital assets securely.
