The Product Manager for Electric Utility Distribution will lead product road mapping, new product development, and assist in commercial and marketing strategy for the Electric Utility Distribution Market.ResponsibilitiesDevelop deep understanding of customers and competitive product market, identify product gaps, generate new product opportunities, and create new ideas to grow market shareEnsures projects are consistent with product line strategy and messaging is effectively conveyedLead product teams in the development of new and enhanced products and with an in-depth understanding of the marketplace, provides products and programs that are superior to the competitionTranslate product strategy into detailed requirements, product launch plans and prototypesScope and prioritize product project activities based on business and customer impactManage and rationalize products within brandsCreate buy-in for product vision both internally and with key external partnersWork with commercial team to manage pricing, positioning and overall product line strategiesWork closely with sales, engineering and operational teams to deliver efficient time-to-market for products with the optimal utilization of resourcesAct as a product ambassador to build awareness and understanding with customersRepresent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company productsBecome the subject matter expert of all relevant products, from raw material to finished goods.
